The North Sails loft at Nelson Marina is home to in-house designers and manufacturers of high quality sails for performance/cruising monohull, multi-hull and classic yachts, NZ rated and non rated trailer yachts, sport boats and all centreboard yacht sails.
Over the years, sails have varied in shape and design. North Sails Nelson have closely watched the performance fleet and have joined in the trend of adding area to the head (square tops) but adding their own touch or two in the process. Some pictures of our ‘over square’ top and our ‘round’ top are below. Also below is a picture of sail headboard with a difference.
